Everyone’s welcome — online and in person

“Everyone’s welcome” is one of the things Framberry genuinely stands for, and that includes how you use this website and, when we open in 2027, how you experience our space. We want our site to be usable by as many people as possible, whatever device you’re on and whatever assistive technology you use. This statement explains what we’re doing, where we know we can do better, and how to tell us when something isn’t working.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the internationally recognised Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as our target standard. In practice, that means we work to make our website:

  • Perceivable — with readable text, sufficient colour contrast, and text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • Operable — navigable by keyboard as well as mouse or touch, with clear links and headings.
  • Understandable — written in plain, clear language with a consistent, predictable layout.
  • Robust — built to work with current browsers and assistive technologies, including screen readers.

Accessibility isn’t a one-off task. As we build out the site ahead of launch and add new features like online ordering and gift cards, we’ll keep accessibility in mind and test as we go.

Known limitations

We’re honest about the fact that no website is perfect, and ours is still being built. Some content — particularly third-party features such as embedded social media, maps or an ordering system — may not yet fully meet our target standard, because parts of it are outside our direct control. Where we rely on third parties, we choose partners who take accessibility seriously and we raise issues with them.

If you come across a barrier we haven’t mentioned here, we’d really like to know, so we can fix it or offer the information another way.

Accessibility in our space

When Framberry opens its doors in 2027, we want the welcome to be as inclusive as the website. We’re designing with real people in mind — step-free access where the building allows, room for wheelchairs and buggies, clear menus, and a team briefed to help. We’re also family- and dog-friendly, and everything we serve is non-alcoholic, with vegan, halal- and kosher-friendly options as standard, so more people can simply turn up and feel at home. We’ll publish specific access details for each location on our locations pages as they open.

Please tell us what you were trying to do and what went wrong, and we’ll do our best to put it right and to give you the information you need in the meantime.
