Franchise Framberry — Open Your Own Wellness Clubhouse

Franchise Framberry — open your own wellness clubhouse

Framberry is a London-born smoothie bar and speciality coffee shop built for the wellness generation — and we’re building it to be opened by people like you. If you’ve ever looked at a smoothie franchise in the UK and wished someone would just be straight with you about the numbers, the support and what “owning your own” actually involves, you’re in the right place. We’re a different kind of franchisor: transparent on purpose, supportive by design, and genuinely on your side.

Why Framberry

The wellness-drinks category is growing fast, and the most aspirational brands in it have quietly shut the door on owner-operators. The biggest name in the space doesn’t sell single-unit franchises at all — only whole-country deals with large operators. Others are entirely company-owned. That leaves a real gap: a London-born, well-supported, transparent franchise that an ambitious individual can actually open. That’s us.

What you’d be buying into is a joyful, inclusive brand: ceremonial-grade matcha, real-fruit smoothies, proper speciality coffee, and shareable signatures like our alcohol-free Piña Colada served in a real pineapple. Everything is non-alcoholic, most of it is vegan, and it’s all halal- and kosher-friendly — so your customer base is as wide as a high street gets.

How our franchise works

A franchise is a licence to run a proven system under a trusted brand. With Framberry, that means our recipes to the gram, our supply chain (including the signature pineapples and our matcha sourcing), our brand book, our training programme, and an operations manual that documents how a great Framberry actually runs. You bring the local knowledge, the energy and the day-to-day leadership; we bring the system and the support behind it.

We run two formats in parallel, so there’s a route in whatever your budget:

  • The neighbourhood clubhouse — a full Framberry café on a residential high street, transport hub or leisure destination. The brand showcase, and the bulk of the opportunity.
  • “Powered by Framberry” studio & gym partnerships — a compact, branded bar inside a gym, yoga studio or run-club HQ. Lower fit-out, a captive wellness audience, and the host carrying the property cost. See our studio & gym partnerships page.

Investment and what’s included

Café franchises in the UK typically run a franchise fee of around £20–35k, a royalty near 6% of sales, a small marketing-fund contribution, and a fit-out somewhere between roughly £250–400k depending on format and site. Those are category norms to give you a feel for the shape of it.

Framberry’s exact figures are being finalised with our franchise advisers and are shared in full on enquiry — and that’s the point. Transparency is our promise: you’ll see the real build cost, target sales, margins and payback before you ever sign anything. No opacity, no surprises. For the detail, see franchise costs and investment.

Who we’re looking for

You don’t need to have run a café before. You do need to be hands-on, people-first, brilliant in your community, and aligned with what we stand for: real ingredients, genuine welcome, and quality without snobbery. We’d rather grow carefully with the right operators than quickly with the wrong ones.

The process

It starts with a conversation. You register your interest, we share the full numbers and discovery pack, and we get to know each other. From there: site selection (we own that process with you — the single biggest factor in whether a café succeeds), training, fit-out and launch, then ongoing field, marketing and supply support. A new guide on how to open a smoothie bar in the UK walks through the wider picture too.

Framberry opens its first London site in 2027. Early conversations now shape who’s first in line.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Framberry franchise cost?

Our exact fee, royalty and fit-out figures are being finalised and shared in full on enquiry. As a guide, UK café franchises typically run a ~£20–35k fee, a ~6% royalty and roughly £250–400k fit-out depending on format. See our costs and investment page for detail.

Do I need café or hospitality experience to open one?

No prior café experience is required. We’re looking for hands-on, community-minded operators who share our values; our training programme and operations manual are built to turn the right person into a confident Framberry owner.

What makes Framberry different from other smoothie or coffee franchises?

Transparency and support. Many aspirational brands won’t franchise to individuals at all, or stay opaque on numbers. We publish honest economics, back our franchisees obsessively, and offer a capital-light studio/gym route as well as full cafés.

Can I open more than one site?

Yes. We support single-unit, multi-unit and area-development routes over time. Many operators start with one site or a studio concession and grow from there.

When can I open a Framberry?

Our first London site opens in 2027, with franchising following as we prove and document the model. Registering your interest now puts you among the first we talk to.

Ready to explore opening your own Framberry? Register your interest and we’ll share the full franchise pack, including the real numbers, with no obligation.
